The First Thanksgiving and the "Poor Guy"

This year's feast took on a special note, as we had a very special guest!

Not only was this Agniya's first Thanksgiving,
it was also the first time that she had a roast turkey!

Whew. no pressure!
Anyway, here is our special day:

The Pilgrim Agniya (hat, courtesy of Caleb):
The "Poor Guy," all buttered and thymed up:
The "Poor Guy," in a very compromised position:
The "Poor Guy," looking lovely indeed:
It just gets more and more humiliating for the "Poor Guy":
Our Feast:
We thank you, Lord, for this bounty. And for our countless blessings. May we be ever thankful, and remember those in need at all times.
Thankful for our wonderful family:
especially these two turkeys:
Our sweet Agniya at her first Thanksgiving:
Yes. Both of these plates belonged to Matt:
Agniya's very first bite of Thanksgiving Turkey!!!:
pil·grim n.
1. A religious devotee who journeys to a shrine or sacred place.
2. One who embarks on a quest for something conceived of as sacred.
3. A traveler.

And we ate that Poor Guy. And boy, did he taste good.

6 friends had a thing or two to say...:

How fun! It looks like you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving ... with your own special "pilgrim"!

I had to laugh at Matt's St. Patrick's day t-shirt!

Everything looks so yummy!
