All of my FAVORITE quotes (and there are a lot!) are from the Bible. So first, if you are not familiar with that book, I recommend that you check it out. It WILL rock your world. To read some of my favorites, click here.
But in addition, there are some other quotes that inspire me. Many of them I found through my friend Angel, who just has an inspiring kinda personality. So, I wanted to have a place where I could record them. I will continue to add to this list...
"From this time forward, Christ has no body on earth but yours, no hands but yours, no feet but yours. Yours are the eyes through which His compassion will look upon the world; Yours are the feet with which He will go about doing good; Yours are the hands with which He will bless others"
"Quit living as if the purpose of life is to arrive safely at death.
Set God-sized goals. Pursue God-ordained passions.Go after a dream that is destined to fail without divine intervention.Keep asking questions. Keep making mistakes. Keep seeking God.Stop pointing out problems and become part of the solution.Stop repeating the past and start creating the future.Stop playing it safe and start taking risks.Expand your horizons. Accumulate experiences. Consider the lilies.Enjoy the journey.Find every excuse you can to celebrate everything you can. Live like today is the first day and last day of your life. Don't let what's wrong with you keep you from worshipping what's right with God.Burn sinful bridges. Blaze a new trail. Criticize by creating.Worry less about what people think and more about what God thinks.Don't try to be who you're not. Be yourself. Laugh at yourself.Quit holding out. Quit holding back. Quit running away.Chase the lion! " - Mark Batterson, In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day

"There is a rawness and a wonder to life. Pursue it. Hunt for it. Sell out to get it.Jesus says the options are clear. On one side there is the voice of safety. You can build a fire in the hearth, stay inside, and stay warm and dry and safe.Or you can hear the voice of adventure—God’s adventure.Instead of building a fire in your hearth, build a fire in your heart. Follow God’s impulses. Adopt the child. Move overseas. Teach the class. Change careers. Run for office. Make a difference.Don’t listen to the whines of those who have settled for a second-rate life and want you to do the same so they won’t feel guilty. Your goal is not to live long; it’s to live.Sure it isn’t safe, but what is?" - Max Lucado; Luke 17:33 "Whoever seeks to save his life loses it, but whoever loses his life preserves it."
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” - Marianne Williamson
"It is a poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish." - Mother Teresa
